When I was
free I did not know what the Bible was like
(Dmitri, a teenage prisoner from Sambir, Ukraine)
Many prisoners are discovering the
message of the Bible thanks to the work of Bible Societies around
the world. This year, Bible Societies are investing more than
US$300,000 in over 40 projects to show people in prisons what
the Bible is like. In a few months time, World Report
will include a special section on prison work featuring life-changing
stories from this vital part of our ministry.
