Bible news in brief...BARBADOS — The Bible Society in the East Caribbean has dedicated its newly-acquired headquarters in St Michael, Barbados. Owen Williams, the Society's General Secretary, expressed gratitude to those who had helped the Society search for a property during the past several years. The building will now be renovated and the Society expects to move in by the end of the year. Alfred Ince, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bible Society in the East Caribbean, was assisted by Marco Herrera, UBS Regional Secretary for the Caribbean and North America Region, and Dr Eugene Habecker, President of the American Bible Society, in unveiling a plaque commemorating the occasion.
