MALAWI: The famine in Malawi has put more than three million people in need of food aid. As part of its response, the Bible Society of Malawi is planning a collaborative project to subsidise the price of Bibles.

LESOTHO: The effects of the agricultural disaster in Lesotho have been made worse by various other economic factors. The Bible Society in Lesotho is finding it hard to raise funds but is exploring ways to produce a relevant Scripture Portion.

SOUTH PACIFIC: There was an enthusiastic response to the Bible Week run by the Bible Society in the South Pacific.

CANADA: A special edition of the Gospel of Matthew is being distributed to young people attending World Youth Day.
